2018 Farm Dinner Series
For those of you new to Yellow Birch Farm Dinners, we strive to create a unique and intimate experience that couples our quality farm produce and expertly crafted dishes with the sustainability and locality YBF encapsulates. Held in our nineteenth Century post-and-beam barn, guests are surrounded by myriad works of fine art that constitute the Greene Ziner Gallery. Limited to sixteen guests per evening, our dinners foster great conversation and a familial environment. The dinner itself is composed of five courses and prior to the meal, guests are given a short tour of the workings of our farm and studios, which allows them to see exactly how their meal is created and where the ingredients are coming from.
We're excited to announce our 2018 Summer Farm Dinner Series with chef Will Ternay. Will has an interesting culinary background from starting as a teenager at Haystack, to attending the Culinary Institute of America, working with chef Bradley Ogden at One Market Place in San Francisco, and was executive chef at Striped Bass in Philadelphia. He has traveled extensively and has worked with Chefs Max Mattes and Tony Lawless in Deer Isle, at the Whale's Rib. We are all anticipating a fun filled and delicious summer as we taste our way through Will's creative take on the "Farm to Table" movement.
Please remember that all of our dinners are BYOB. An email announcing your dinner’s main course will be sent to you earlier in the week so that you can choose your wine accordingly.
As well, please note that all dinners begin at 6:30 and run until about 9:30pm.
Given the intimate setting of our dining room, we are not able to accept cancellations less than 72 hours in advance. Cancellations should be made via phone by calling the farm at (207) 348-2601. You will receive an e-mail confirming the refund of payment to the card used to purchase the tickets within 48 hours.
